when it comes to control training does breed plays a role
I was amazed recently on how well was this dog behaving based on the training his owner put him thru, the dog was well control by hand signals and some voice commands, but he was a german shepperd, exellent dog by the way, so do you guys believe the type of breed have better self control or can actually work or perform better?or you guys think it can be done just as well with any dog any breed?

Jon iwhat do you mean by self control?
I think the furries are naturally more attuned to their handlers/owners and there for easier to handle, teach and control, but don't forget they were bred for that.
Please know though that doesn't mean that a breed like the AB can't also embody that. It just may take a little more training and work for the AB, but the end result can be just as impressive, showing restraint and percision. The main thing though whether working with a furry or AB is that the dog and handler are compable.
